Bright Leaves
This Friday we'll be watching Bright Leaves - a film by Ross McElwee - supposedly one of America's top doc makers. I've been reading a bit of Wendell Berry in the last while and thought this film might be a glimpse into the life of the south and the culture of tobacco. Hope to see you out!

I found Bright Leaves to be really slow. But it was a good slow - like a long meal with lots of interesting people at the table. It was very personal and wandering, yet it kept my interest in an almost meditative way.
